Obituary:

Jeff passed away Sunday, February 19, 2017 at St. Alexius Medical Center in Bismarck.
Jeffrey Edward was born July 31, 1959 in Richardton, ND, to Michael and Geraldine (Nesper) Schirado.  Growing up he attended a small country school; later attending and graduating from Glen Ullin Public School.  He worked on the family farm until graduation. After, he moved to Casper, Wyoming, with his older brother, Jerome, to build houses. A few years later, Jeff moved back to Glen Ullin where he farmed and did carpentry with his father.  While there he met his future wife, Julie, and soon after purchased a farmstead. Jeff and Julie were married on June 28, 1986 in Glen Ullin at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  The couple was blessed with four children, Ethan, Katelyn, Mikayla, and Jacob.
Jeff was a jack-of-all trades.  He worked with Wolff Auctioneers for many years enjoying the people he encountered.  Jeff later took a job as a custodian at Glen Ullin School where students, faculty, and his family filled his day with happiness.  During these endeavors he continued a livestock and a small grain operation.  Jeff’s love of the outdoors caused him to begin over the road trucking.
Jeff enjoyed spending time with his family including school activities, farm life, and outdoor adventures.  He was a people person.  Helping and serving others came naturally. He spent the majority of his time tinkering on projects in the shop with his family and friends; however, you had to be on your toes or you may have fallen into a prank.
Jeff is survived by his parents, Mike and Gerry Schirado; wife, Julie (French); sons, Ethan and Jacob Schirado all of Glen Ullin; daughters, Katelyn (Tanner) Meidinger of Dickinson and Mikayla Schirado of Bismarck; brother, Jerome (Karen) Schirado; sister, DeeAnn Schirado all of Glen Ullin; and sister-in-law, Sharon Schirado of  Gillette, WY; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Jeff is preceded in death by both maternal and paternal grandparents, and his older brother, Larry Schirado.
